Jon Spiegel’s Birthday Entertainment Extravaganza!

Twelve years ago Jon Spiegel outlived his musical hero, Lowell George of Little Feat,
and celebrated publicly with a party featuring a generous smattering of Chicago musical swells, well-wishers, and other flim-flam
artists of varying pedigrees.

Over a decade later the tradition continues-
now engorged into a one-evening tribute to self-indulgence. Fortunately,
this can still be pretty fun.

This year’s guests include The Beagle
Brothers (from Pittsburgh, PA), Jon’s eccentric Klezmer ensemble, The
Klezticles, members of Tributosuarus, the Otters, and of course, Brother
Brother.

As usual, the stage will feature the requisite sofas, go-go cage,
waffle bar, and multiple bottles of vodka frozen in huge blocks of ice.

This year also features the special send-off of Andy Martello, famous
Plate-Spinner and Juggler, who will be rotating the Lenox for the final year
before moving to Las Vegas later this summer. The evening also includes
raffles, scattered lagniappes, and staggering running time of 7:30 PM- 1:30 AM.
